Rolf, if you wear your best Sunday dress tomorrow, Alan and I might consider taking you crossing? Interested? Others? If not, I have a lot of other friends, a few of them not on probation. [It will be raining.]

Sounds good, JT. I don’t think it will rain; but if it does, that’s A-OK.
I had previously come up with the following suggestion for tomorrow: take a B-train up Shelbourne and half of Blenki, then jump onto Lochside at Lohbrunner, up through the Royal Oak park system (Donwood, Lohbrunner, Rithetwood, Emily Carr, Shadywood), cross the highway, over Greenlea to Quick's Bottom, Glen's Bridge to Glendale, down Colquitz and the Goose to coffee.
There's a little extra here, but we’d stay on the road for the first 10K, followed by 12K of mixed trails, and then finish with 8K paved (Goose and downtown.) All the pavement should make things quicker. But to make coffee by 7:30, we'd have to keep things brisk...
Or we shelve that for next week or another time and go poke around Mystic Vale, thinking up other ways to steal and then obscure geographic puns.
Despite the detailed plan above, I’m genuinely easy. Just ask Alan.

Given the weather forecast I might be interested as well
Re: Friday April 5, Lifting the veil on mystic
Sounds like a great route and company, Rolf. I'll be there at OBH at 6 hundred hours and 5 minutes, ...
Wind in mind, I may wear my batundergonch.

Ummm, coming?
Re: Friday April 5, Lifting the veil on mystic
That was me, too, Rolf. Had a vomiting child at 2:30 am, and decided I couldn't get up for 5 am. Still searching for the perfect gif. More to come....

To Rolf and Mary:
To the rest of you who made this mornings ride, without Rolf, does this look familiar?
