Sunday, March 3 - Last Sunday Before Time Change

Mostly nonsense. Also riding bicycles inappropriate for off road terrain, off road; GIFs

Sunday, March 3 - Last Sunday Before Time Change

Post by Rolf »

Let’s make the most of what will feel like sleeping in, come DST next weekend.

Thetis is apparently still snowy  , but there are many other miles of trail around; and cold, clear, and sunny all make for sweet conditions.

See you at Starbucks, 0730.

I’m a solid maybe. I’m going to be the noob and ask which Starbucks you’re referring to.

Have a good ride. I'll be doing an afternoon ride instead as I am busy in the morning. Leaving at 2:30 if anyone wants to join.

James, it's the Starbucks at Fairfield Plaza - the one with Thrifty's.

Aw you guys are going to have so much fun without us. It's awards day at gymnastics, requiring a full family presence. And our daughter is putting on a play she wrote, directed and stars in during the afternoon. She has invited the parents of the other actresses and the neighbors. We are responsible for "refreshments" and making sure the stage (our living room) is presentable! So no time for a decent ride tmrw for us!

At least it'll be darker for a little while after next weekend!

That sounds pretty cool, Louise. But we'll miss you both.

James: we often meet up at Fairfield Bucks soon after 0700 and enjoy some coffee, porridge, wakeup chat and route planning before departing at the same time as the roadies at 0730. We usually wrap up between 10 and 11, usually somewhere with more coffee and food.

Food's pretty great. So's coffee. And sunshine. And endorphins and good company. You get the picture...

I’m be joining in again in two months when my wife finishes her running course. Hopefully my knee will be 20% by then. Curling. Stay away from it. It’s dangerous.
