Knee and shin pads to borrow?

Long shot here, but i'm heading skiing tomorrow, and as I pack the clothes with a hole in the left leg from my skewering incident off piste last year, i'm not feeling nostalgic.

Anyone have some knee and shin pads from mtb that aren't too long (so they don't hit the top of the boot), I could borrow? We're on the 8 ferry, so would have to pick them up tonight. Thanks! mobile 250 882 5420
