Any weekend 15/16th rides planned
Weather forecast is pretty wet this weekend, but Saturday actually looks like we could see some sun. Anyone planning a ride as it would be great to join up and meet some of you for the first time.

Hi tenmile, not this weekend for me but likely next.
Re: Any weekend 15/16th rides planned
I'm in for a Sunday ride as long as I don't get ridiculously wet.

I'm up for a Sunday toddle, Terry. If this cold will let me get out of the house by then.
Re: Any weekend 15/16th rides planned
That would be great. Wouldn't mind trying something similar to that route you did last weekend at Francis King, Thetis etc... as I've been poking around at those trails, but they are all new to me. https://www.strava.com/activities/1961163209
Where/when do you guys typically meet?

Looks like we should avoid heavy rains tomorrow (Sun) so I'm going to head out for a ride. If anyone cares to join, figure I will meet up at the parking lot at the VITP around 9 (Laritz Park at the start of the Glendale trails by the baseball diamonds) and then do a CX loop from there.

Typically we have met at 7:30am at the Fairfield Plaza Starbucks, with some people meeting at the switch bridge near Uptown. We can meet elsewhere too. 9:00 might be a bit late to meet at VITP. Can you get there a little earlier?

I'm out for tomorrow. Still pretty much:
(Stop looking at me like that, L3...)
I note on the ride linked above it took us only 30 minutes from our meet-up at Fort & Richmond to Markham St. in the VI Tech Park. That's taking the most direct route along Burnside and then hitting the Colquitz Trail at Interurban.
If you start from Fairfield Starbucks and take the poky way through town and on the Goose, (as we mostly did last week) it's still only about 37 minutes to the Tech Park. So if Ron's starting at the usual 7:30 SBucks meetup, Terry would meet him at the Tech Park at 8.
Have fun out there!

Forecast is miserable for the whole day, so I may as well embrace it. I will be at Starfield Fairbucks for the standard departure (0730h).

Thanks for the ETAs Rolf. Sorry to hear you are under the weather.
I'll be at Starbucks at 7:30. Terry, I'll try to find you at VIPT at around 8:15. Given my sense of direction there is ample opportunity I won't find you. Be on the look out!

I'll join you guys but I'll wait at the switch for Todd, Ron and anyone else who decides to brave the weather. 7:50 guys? Is that about right?
I'm not sure who'll take navigational leadership.....we might get lost.
Sorry to hear you're still ill Rolf. Gell well soon. I can't take too many more snot-infused Gifs

That's about right for timing. And without Rolf there, I will be merrily following you, L3.

If there’s no roadies I’ll swap out my bikes and join you guys. I’ll be there for 7.30.
