Sunday, November 4 - Choose Your Own Adventure

Mostly nonsense. Also riding bicycles inappropriate for off road terrain, off road; GIFs

Sunday, November 4 - Choose Your Own Adventure

Post by Rolf »

Let's meet the usual crew for coffee at Fairfield Starbucks, leaving at 7:30 after talking routes (probably something tried and true: RRU, Langford Lake, Thetis, Colquitz, Elk, etc.)

With sunrise rolled back to 7:03, it should be bright and beautiful. And the wind that may plague the roadies won't touch us under the trees. :)

Aim for coffee and second breakfast by 10:30-ish.

Darn. I’ve been wanting to do that route for a while but am heading to Nanaimo for COTR tomorrow. Maybe you will have so much fun that you’ll want to do it again next Sunday! 😁

I'm in, but gotta be a breakfast meeting for 10am. Will peel back early, I guess, in case you want to come to my meeting and have a burger...

Still travelling, but over the moon with the prospect of reconnecting in a few days,

Your absence was virtually the only blemish on an exquisite morning, JT. (That and making Alan slightly late for his breakfast date.)

I'm still filled with gratitude: fun, swooping trails through incredible, sun-dappled forest; a great mix of riders and company; no flats or crashes; a hearty second breakfast at Picnic. Rides like this are what it's all about.
