A gentle reminder that it's sometimes not as wet as it looks when you first wake up. A light sprinkle returned around 7:15—otherwise, today's skirting of several golf courses and climbing of dirty hills was lovely warm and dry.
Of course, rain would have offered a more melodramatic setting for Nick and my discovery that the rest of our cross crew had forsaken us.
*With cross season in full swing, Tuesdays and Fridays are pretty much guaranteed all fall long. Wednesdays and Sundays are probably still worth checking first for a post.

I would feel a little bad but it was just too nice this afternoon for my one ride of the day. Friday “rain” cheque?

I would have ridden but I had a business breakfast I was obligated to join.
