By now you probably know the drill. Bringing your own tools can be helpful, but there tend to be enough to go around. Work gloves and good shoes needed.
I'll be driving from Oak Bay/Fairfield around 5:30 tomorrow and I can pick YOU up (PM me); we'll be back downtown or dropping you off at home by 8-8:30. John and Alan may be in the car, but I swear they haven't figured out how to GIF while driving.
Tasks tomorrow include raking aside slippery arbutus leaves, bucketing soil, and extracting boulders for trail contour re-shaping. Once we've laid the groundwork, NTS has plans for some cool cedar plank features.

Yes, you too can join these heroes next week for more trail-building fun!
For those of you who are looking for ways to give back to the Club and do a little volunteering, this work supports this year's CrossFondo, which in turn is at the beating heart of our awesome Youth Team program. These trail work-parties offer a reasonable workout and are held at the same time you'd likely be out riding (6 a.m.) So, they pose minimal disruption to your regular life.
