That Wednesday Ride
Wednesday 6am at Switch Bridge (roll out before 6:05) for Munns/Ross-Durance/Prospect. Usually everyone is home by 8, so it's a bit longer than a traditional TS ride. Pace is peppy B1/A2 with 2-3 regroupings at the top of the major climbs. Coffee after at Uptown Good Earth for those who can.
Re: That Wednesday Ride
The weather forecast currently calls for a high chance of rain overnight tonight until 6a.m. (when it turns to a medium chance). If it's really wet out, this ride will not happen (at least not by my intitiation).
But if the forecast is wrong and roads are dry at 5:30, I intend to do it. After this week, I'm working the next two Wednesdays so someone else can instigate.

Re: That Wednesday Ride
Is it happening tomorrow? I might be up for it. As long as the pace isn't too wicked (resting a bit this week).

Re: That Wednesday Ride
I'm interested in doing this ride tomorrow morning if there are any takers!
Re: That Wednesday Ride
Turns out I'm going to have to miss it. Work calls!
I did a bunch of it on Sunday though and it reminded me how great those roads are to ride.

Re: That Wednesday Ride
I'd be interested as well for May 30th!
Re: That Wednesday Ride
I'm in.
But if only if Claire promises not to verbally abuse me when I stop to take photos of flowers, refuse to hammer for the sake of hammering, walk up the final Munn ramps etc.

Re: That Wednesday Ride
I'm likely in... provided roads are dry (there's a small chance of rain overnight).
It's a pretty steady ride with a few customary regrouping spots (Prospect/Munn, top of Munn, top of Ross-Durrance, second time at Burnside/Prospect).
Photography is acceptable at those locations, provided the photographer is not the last to arrive.

Re: That Wednesday Ride
Count me in as a solid maybe.
Re: That Wednesday Ride
What a great way to start a Wednesday! Thanks Claire, Steve, and Marc, for dragging me to the base of Munn and waiting for me at the top. I'd forgotten how much fun Ross-Durrance and Prospect are on a road bike.
Sometimes it's hard work getting up and over a climb—but nothing beats that feeling of tracing each others' vectors and drafts, entirely in the moment, saturated in beautiful speed.

Re: That Wednesday Ride
I'd like to get out and do this route tomorrow morning. Company welcome and encouraged.
Re: That Wednesday Ride
Sounds like a great idea, see you there. The other Steve.
Re: That Wednesday Ride
Can't make the TT tonight. I'll be there tomorrow.
