Tim! I thought the exact same thing! It would have added to the drama. Rolf could have filmed his drool and other bodily fluids dripping on his handle bar as his wheel traveled a desperate serpentine path scrambling for traction and any iota of momentum, while he occasionally gazed uphill at his fitter friends inching their way up.

At least that is what was happening on my bicycle. Only probably worse....
