On the sufferfest ride this morning I did a pull, rolled to the back, and then from the back, looked behind me to see where we were as far as following cars were concerned. Bad timing. The group slowed and I ran into the back of James, I think it was James (I'll edit this if I am wrong). My wheel caught his skewer and it took out four spokes. What I am noticing now that I am home (thanks to Heidi for the pick-up - we were in Sidney at the time) is that the wheel has only nine spokes per side. With four out of nine spokes sliced in two, the wheel stayed intact, no one hit the ground.

Glad you got back ok John. felt bad leaving you stranded on the side of the road in Sidney. Hope that wheel can be repaired.
