VCL_2&3

Post by JohnT »

Second race of the series is tomorrow at 10 am (Caleb Pike) and the third is Wednesday at the Speedway, the race we host. I have a list of people who offered to help out.... I'll be contacting you shortly. Keep in mind that the Speedway is a great venue for spectating as well.

I believe the forecast is good. I will post a race schedule for Wednesday later today.

Cheers,

John

Speedway Races (April 25th)

5:30 pm: sign-in open

EDIT: I missed the important point that there is an additional $8.00 (one time fee for number and chip).
To offset that expense, for tonight only, the Tripleshot portion of the fee will be REDUCED from $10 to $5.

So, $5.00 (Tripleshot) + $5.00 (Timing) + $8.00 (one-time cost for number & chip) = $18.00

We pay for the timing at each race, so it is $15 even if you already have a number and timing chip after this.

6:00 pm: C Race start (20 min plus 5 laps)
6:30 pm: B Race start (25 min plus 5 laps)
7:00 pm: A Race start (30 min plus 5 laps)

Huge thank you to Roxanne Stedman and Joe Barrett. Quite a few first-timers, which is always fun. About 60 participants altogether. Great racing - very close finishes in all three races. Some more volunteers next week would be helpful.

Great work John and all the volleys!

Also, did I leave my Ralley long fingered gloves at the start line John? Black and orange? :)
