There are a couple of people that are meeting us along the route to the peninsula so I will stick to that route this time.

Good decision. Overnight forecast is for rain and a low of 1C. Metchosin will be even colder. If there's no frost/black-ice I will try to meet you at 7:00am for at least part of the peninsula route.
