TBT at the TTTs

Hey. Wouldn't it be fun to don our old Spandex and celebrate all that's classic (and wooly, stretched out and out of style) on a Thursday TTT session? It may be a little late notice for tomorrow, but it might be a good chance to show our old-school kit the light of day once in a while - so why not do it on Thursdays?

(This may be even more fun and revealing when we're not in so many layers and it's daylight out, but why not start now and build the excitement as the daylight returns?)

What a great idea to resurrect classic jerseys from years past. I'd love to rock the early 90's motif or just for once wear in pride my one and only wool version. Who could forget this icon of racing on the bottom attachment?

My non-internet-aided guess is that's Julie Furtado. And if it's as warm on Thursday this week as it was this morning, we may even be able to display our dated duds in a duo of days!

This Thursday strikes me as an excellent time to action this item. It'll be warm (i.e. conducive to summer kit wearing), lots of peeps are likely to come out to join the revelry (and self-mockery). I will bring a photograph-taking device so anyone who misses out can laugh at us, too.

So dust off that old kit and wear it with pride on Thursday!

I'll try to remember to wear my 1999 Physical Culture jersey. I think I've given away of all of my older jerseys.

I think yours is a different colour than mine, so you can probably still wear yours.

I still occasionally wear my brown buddha jersey, no need to be embarrassed! Although I think it was circa 1998.....'99 was when we moved to the blue and yellow "groper" jersey and the baby blue shorts with the flames!

If I was free to come to this ride I was thinking of wearing something even older and even uglier. But I'll wait for the next rendition of TBT. Have fun tmrw.
