Unless pouring, snowing, icing, and/or sick I’m showing up with my cross bike tomorrow morning at St. Matthias.
If no others show, I’ll return home and rearrange my sock drawer for the fourth day in a row.

Still pretty wretched, John. But my legs are feeling the call of the Irish, bigly. It’ll have to be a game-day decision.
I may only make it out for Friday’s SnowCross.

I plan on riding; if Shelbourne seems icy I’ll assume people are sock-sorting.
Re: Calling all unicorns, leprechauns and Vikings
I'll be there, with my freshly-tuned cyclocross bike and all the body armour needed to deal with wind, sleet, snow, thunderbolts, UFOs and whatever else. I figure, if it proves really challenging then I'll ride only up to that point where John convinces me that his sock drawer is more promising than the weather and we divert towards his Oak Bay house, parked suspiciously close to a very large nose.
Haven't seen that nose, you wankers? (see my other post) then get off your fricken trainers and try to ride thru Estevan Village where there is really mind-blowing and challenging Public art, hated by most gentrified Oak Bay tea slurpers, but profoundly appreciated by the rest of us non-Philistines. Frankly, if the weather really sucks, I'm going to ride to John's house to see if the rumours are true and Jill can make a decent cup of coffee.
