I just spotted this in relation to the Times Colonist announcement about Google Streets covering Victoria last summer. It looks like I got some international time for the TS jersey coming home from one of the Tuesday AM rides.

No doubt this warning will have the opposite effect: Beware of the Google walkabout. It is not condusive to getting work done. After checking out Ryan's Triple Shot driving kit I started to explore my own neighbourhood. The lupins were blooming in my garden when the Google car drove by. You can zoom in a count the blossums if you like. My neighbour didn't have his boat parked in the driveway on that day - probably a good thing given it's illegal in Oak Bay. Another neighbour obviously is watering his lawn. My blinds were closed .... in the middle of the afternoon. Hmmmm. Talk about exposure.
