2017 Big Loop Ride - Sunday, July 16th

Hi all;

Tripleshot's 5th annual "Big Loop Ride" rolls out on Sunday July 16th. The BLR is a no-drop supported group ride. To join the ride you must be a Tripleshot member. There will probably be two groups – a fast and not-so-fast.

Date: Sunday 16th July 2017
Time: 6:00am for a 6:15am start
Where: Starbucks – Alpha Street opposite Mayfair Mall
Distance: 250K
Route: Victoria-Sooke-Jordan River-Port Renfrew- Lake Cowichan-Duncan-Mill Bay-Mill Bay Ferry-Brentwood Bay-Victoria.

Support: We will have at least one car and one motorbike to provide support and supplies, with scheduled food stops at Sooke, Jordan River, Port Renfrew and Lake Cowichan. We will also stop at the Mill Bay Plaza for coffee and or ice cream and to pick up ferry tickets. Additional Support will be provided along the route to assist with any mechanical mishaps, accidents and to provide water top-ups as required. All riders should carry water and snacks, spare tubes, a pump to fix flats etc. If at any time along the route a rider decides to leave the group then he or she should not expect further support.

Cost: There is no cost to join the ride. The club will pay for the ride expenses.

Ferry Times:
3:00 pm
4:10 pm
5:20 pm
6:30 pm

We will plan to catch the 4:10 ferry. The faster group may make the 3:00 ferry. This will mean riders will be back in Victoria between 5:30-6:00pm.
