From the reading I've done on fecal transplants (yes, it pops up in a variety of medical-light reading materials), I'd say it definitely has good potential on a number of fronts.
If only we would get over our squeamishness around poop, more could be done to look into the whats and whys of its benefits.
Maybe it's time for our in-house pharmaceutical pooh-pooher to weigh in on this non-medicinal cure for the things that ail us.
