Hi Paul
There will be food available. We will be barbecuing burgers (veggie ones too) and will have some snacks, water etc. You can bring some side dishes if you like.
All you really need to do is turn up with a nice crisp $10 note and enjoy the day. Fun starts at 10:00am (Switch Bridge at 09:30) for all of those riding up.
Alex has a good program for us on how to ride track bikes in safety, and I think that Lister and some of the kids will be at hand to provide additional coaching.

I hope it went well. I was en route when I heard that the #1 was closed (alternating lanes) at MacKenzie.

What a blast! We missed those who couldn't be there but the 25+ who made it to the track certainly had fun. Alex led us through an excellent progression of skills, drills and mini races. Skills and confidence grew very quickly. The burger break and the appearance of warm sun topped things off nicely. Mary has posted some photos in the thread at the top of the page. I saw lots of cameras out so am sure there will be more. Thanks for adding track cycling to the club calendar!
