I'm not, that's for sure. Here's a plan: Race yourself into shape. To win the most-improved-racer award you'll need some poor finishes early in the season!

Team building? We gotta start with a foundation... i.e., or at least a hole that we can pour a foundation into.

Is any of this working for you? CALEB PIKE in ten days WoHoo. Who's in?

John, if you do it, I will too.

For anyone thinking they're too out of shape due to the terrible winter...everyone else is in the same boat. And my recollection is that these races are gentler in the Spring. Besides, getting dropped gives you anywhere from 1-50 minutes to contemplate the meaning of life and your place in the universe in scenic solitude. It's not the worst thing that could befall you.

I am in. Note that if you are thinking about coming, don't leave planning to the last minute. Ensure that your bike is in good shape before the race. For example, don't replace your tires the day before - new tires on wet roads can be a risk.

Maybe I'm suffering some kind of blindness but I can't see what time Caleb Pike is when I go to the VCL website. Does anyone know the start time?

PLEASE NOTE: after chatting with our VCL race commissaire's they have stated that they will NOT be an official at any road race with disc brakes. Sorry for any hassle!

Race Reg 9:40am - 10:20am:

**MUST HAVE YOUR CYCLING BC/ UCI LICENCE!!! Or proof of payment
**NO one day licences are availible
**YOUTH must have a parent to sign for them ( u19 and under aka if you are 19+ you sign your own)
**Cost is the same as last year $10.00- 19+/ youth (u19 and under), just remember you have to purchase your number too...the number is $5.00
