Heading out on the planned route. This may be modified as we go along the Goose. Figbug says there is some close to 0 sections. Maybe head up the Peninsula after the switch bridge.

See you at Disco.

Please tell me this will end soon? Please!?

I left the coffee shop at 7 after a nice chat with John (sans bike!). Met up with Mikael near the Empress. He had already slipped and fallen on ice on the way from his home. We rode down the Goose towards Interurban. Black ice on the little ramp down to the road from the Goose so we walked. Rode to Wilkinson & Interurban with intermittent ice on the shoulder and ever decreasing temperature. Stopped and had a lovely breakfast at the Bistro. Carefully rode home with the temperature increasing nicely all the way in.

Ah well, this too shall end, right? Some day soon!

Barton!

I woke up at five, checked figbug.com/weather and said to myself, fuggedabaddit, and went back to sleep.

Mikael, hope breakfast made up for that fall!

See you on the road, hopefully, soon.

Cheers

Barton, Mikael and wise Mary,

Always nice to hear a ride report that includes mention of food ( right Rolf? ), but sorry to hear that you took a spill Mikael. I trust all is well and you won't be delayed in getting back on the bike now that the sun is up and warmer temps are on the way soon. I suspect that Barton still enjoyed being on a Mikael'd ride. ( A ride including mostly smiles and positive energy! )
