My rather diminutive 13 year old daughter has informed me- upon growing out of her 24" Opus Mtn bike- that she would like to get into Cross. We are looking for a xs frame Cross bike. Tried to fit her on a 24" Garneau but too small. Guy was talking seatpost and stem extentions to fit.
Glad after years of high level hockey she is interested in another expensive sport.

How big is she?
There are few Small Kona's floating around and Felt makes a very small bike- kids cross size. My daighter has one.
If she is looking for second hand or adult size, wait till the the next Cross season and Im sure some of the TS youth kids will have outgrown their bikes and will be trading up (mine included).
Lister also has a few small loaners for kids to try Cross as part of the TS youth program to see if they like it before committing.
You could also "rent" my sons old 49in Norco for the year- my daughter should be growing into it at some point and will outgrow her current Kona with 24 in wheels and so she will need it, but another kid is welcome to use it in the interim.. Basically you could use it for free as long as you gave it back at the end of a year and fixed any broken parts as you went.

She is 4"10. Appreciate the generous offer Craig. I'm not sure her pubescent brain could handle the responsibility of the rental option. I like the suggestion to discuss with Lister. I will pm you to discuss.
