So amazed and proud of the youth cyclists (and their parents and coaches) at the BC Provincial Cyclocross Championships 2016. The weather was "classic cross" - 2 degrees and pouring rain with puddles and mud calf deep (deeper for some of the youth). Everyone who started, FINISHED! Great composure and sportsmanship, especially for a few youths who only started cross this season.
Podiums: Ethan Pauly U19 Champion, Sarah Van Dam U17 Champion, Griffen Hart U15 Bronze, Isla Walker U13 Bronze.
U13 - Jimi Voss 5; U15 Remy Garrison 6, Connor Bosenberg 8; Nick Voss 10, Liam Sargent 11; U17B - Aedan Crocker 8; U17G - Talia Hill 5; Casey Garrison 6; Megan Barnes 8; U19 - Taro Laframboise 4.
Adults: Bernie Pauly, Lisa Van Dam, Hugh Hart, Dave Hill, Darrell Barnes, Matt Patriquin, Lister Farrar and Joanna Fox who rep'd TS on the adult side.
Uber shout out to the parents who kept the hypothermia at bay with post-race care of the youth team.
