Geoff, I am planning to ride tomorrow and will check with Greg re: evening freedom but may be able to swing a 5 pm ride to try somewhere different/bit farther than am rides. What did you have in mind?

Hey Louise - looks like I spoke too soon. We have an after school guest and M is out of town so I will have to be here. I will try to come out in the morning instead.

No problem Geoff. I'll lug myself out of bed. See you guys at 6:00 am.

If we hang a right onto Ash with the Farmers, we can ride a sweet little bit of twisty trail through most southerly (?) Mt. Doug and then back onto Ash to Mt. Doug for the usual route.

Thanks all for a great ride this morning, and to the Farm Team riders who led us out to Mount Doug. It all got very soggy and muddy after that.

Another super fun, fender-free, morning trail assault. 8)

Here we are contemplating an imposing antennae array:

Pic turned out well Rolf! It was another awesome muddy, wet, rooty, slippy, stealthy ride! And it makes me sorta smile all day knowing that there are other crazy "adults" willing to do this to start the day.

As the self-appointed spokesperson for today's Farm Team ride, where did you Cross-dressers go for coffee? We were waiting for you at Shady Mocha and none appeared. The in-yer-grill sideways rain and wind along Oak Bay was quite a manly feat of endurance, but when we got onto Dallas road, the wind was on our backs and we rode like crazy men.

Said wind, and an extra trip into Summit Park (plus domicile/work constraints among the six of us) led us to Koffi at Haultain Corners.

They make kickass coffee and offer a "spicy salami" breakfast sandwich. 'Nuff said.

(p.s. your references to "cross-dressers" and "manly" feats mean your post probably fails the Bechdel test.)

You know it's a good post when it forces you to do some homework.
To save time for our readers who are less culturally adept than Rolf, the Bechel test is pretty simple way (for women) to judge if a movie is worth seeing. Read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bechdel_test
According to the test:

1.The movie has to have at least two women in it,
2. who talk to each other,
3. about something besides a man.

So, methinks, what would be a good Bechel test measurement for whether a Tripleshot post is worth reading?
1. The post has to refer to a past, present, or future ride.
2. who have interactions of some sort with each other resulting in talking,
3. about something other than cross-dressing, manly pursuits, or obscure cultural literacy tests that causes a consultation with Dr. Google.

We'd call it the Rolf Rule, or the Axiom of Alan

Hard to follow Rolf and Alan's posts, but is anyone up for a cross ride tomorrow morning?

Ya, I was just assuming that I didn't have to post in order to find a bunch of people on cx bikes in the morning! See you there.

I'm still on knobbies tomorrow. Probably do the usual Farm out to Ash and then hit the trails. Will be looking to burn off a little post-election frustration..

We farmers would be willing to lead you out on the ride tomorrow, but we'd better see you at coffee where we can deconstruct the new geo-political world that is unfolding right now.
