I am once again participating in this campaign.
As a cancer survivor, I truly believe that our health is our most valuable possession. We need to put in the effort to protect this possession. As fellow riders, I admire the fact that you make your health a priority. Why else would someone get up at 6am, in the dark and rain, to ride their bike. Please consider contributing to my campaign. Good morning everyone!
What a start it’s been?!
My campaign is off to a HUGE start! And I can’t take any of the credit - all I’m doing is growing something on my upper lip (I’m not sure if it’s a moustache yet, or not). The credit goes to all of the beautiful people out there who received my first email, said to themselves “Now that’s a great cause! I’m giving some money for that!”, opened up their pocketbooks, and donated. For all of you who fall into that category (you know who you are), thank you SO much. Your generosity is heartfelt and incredible! As a colleague of mine always says “Good guy alert!”. Thank you.
Next, I’m bringing back great uses of the moustache in the movies. I am going to start with a favourite actor of mine - Daniel Day-Lewis. The scene is from Gangs of New York. Day-Lewis plays Bill the Butcher. If you haven’t seen this movie, it is fantastic. I apologize for the profanity in the clip, it’s kind of necessary for the role.
