I might join you. I've yet to get a costume and I'm kinda uninspired for ideas, plus a slightly longer ride might be nice.

Louise thought this might be classy, but with those snout and spiracle blindspots, I just can't see making it past the first tree branch or traffic merge alive:

I've got a band concert Wednesday night, so I'm out for (but would have loved!) the longer evening ride.

I will however be out again on knobbies tomorrow morning, 6 am at Pareto. Maybe do what Martin, Greg, and I did last Wednesday: jump on the Farm out to Ash, then find our way to Cook St. Moka House via trails... Everyone welcome!

It's an alley cat - you'll be lucky to get out alive anyway!

Okay Rolf, I'm in since Greg has dibs on the evening ride. My poor, neglected road bike.

See you at 6 am.

Great! See you there.

It is going to be weird riding in a straight line on slicks again one day... :?

Friday October 28th - who's in? It's been a while so maybe we can work Beacon Hill back into the rotation tomorrow.

I'm in!

I thought about wearing last year's costume to work on Friday, but it's full-length and riding seated would be right out.

We're in (definitely one Fennell, probably two, but not three).

Sunday Cross adventure! Fairfield Bucks, 7:30 a.m. Coffee somewhere around 10-10:30?

Looking for volunteers for a longer (daylight) exploration of Victoria's trails and bike-friendly paths. Possible destinations may include: Cedar Hill, Rithet's Bog, Royal Oak (Burial) Park, Elk Lake, Hartland, the Highlands, and home somehow through Thetis/Francis King to the Goose.

(Bring tubes. Bonus points if you already have sound navigable competence in any of these areas!)

Can't do this tomorrow, but maybe on a future Saturday? I should be able to secure a loaner cross bike with some advance planning and would be happy to lead a ride through some of the aforementioned paths and woodland trails. Through 30+ years of running and riding around this town, I have acquired a decent knowledge of the place. And I can always be plied with a promise of post-ride coffee.

I think I can make it. Royal Road was good last week, and we could come back via Thetis and Francis King (I mostly know my way). I'm open to other stuff too/instead.

I'm in Van from tomorrow lunch to the end of the week. Will miss my Friday crossery!

Having said that, I'm keen to do another cross ride tomorrow morning (6 am at Pareto): Farm Team out to Ash, then trails back to Cook Street Moka House, or...? Who's in?
