Tell that to Chris Froome - I believe he recently won the Tour de France while RUNNING UP A VERY LARGE HILL - Clearly, running saves lives and leads to tour victory!

(p.s. Disregard the fact that his bike was actually broken at the time - that was a ruse to permit his graceful running style to be broadcast worldwide)
