Whistler Gran Fondo

Post by mtsmith439 »

6 days to go!!!

I have signed up for the Whistler Gran Fondo again this year, and was wondering if any Tripleshotters are taking part.

My master plan (subject to change dependant upon ability to find a good group to ride with, we are SO spoiled in TSC) is to finish up in the 4hr to 4hr15min range.

My wife and I are heading over Friday morning, staying in Vancouver Friday night, and staying in Whistler Saturday night. My wife (Tracy) is going to be driving up to Whistler. She will be heading out early, before they close the bridge.

It would be amazing to ride with some Victoria folk, and show the fine citizens of Vancouver how it's done. At the very least, meet up for a free beer at the end of the ride, and compare battle scars.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark, I will be riding in the whistler grand fondo this weekend. Your plans sound similar to mine. I will riding with 2 friends from squamish, a fourth rider would be awesome to have along. We expect to finish about the same time you. Let me know what you think? Steve Skrobek
