Adam racing at Abitibi UCI Today

As if one kid racing internationally today, Dave Attwell has two. Adam and Erin are twins, and the genetics, family and community for them to be athletes seems to be working for both.

Abitibi is Canada's International junior men's stage race, in the UCI Junior National Cup. First organized in 1969. I rode in 1976 and coached the Ontario team there in 1982. http://tourabitibi.com/en/tour-programmation/

First stage (113 km road race), starts at 4:45 Quebec time. 1:45 our time.

Adam is steadily improving as a new cyclist, now the third best Team BC rider, and counting for the team standing. His placings are in the 80's (Out of 140) in the first 3 stages, but he's gone from off-the-back late in the stage, to finishing with the front group and starting to take part in sprint finishes. Who knows by Sunday? Bravo Adam.
