Hurricane Ridge Tickets & gate fees
Hi,
Is there a usual person collecting ticket for Trioleshot or has it changed to every man, woman & child for themselves?
If yes to the second question, the tickets don't have expiration dates? Is it better to buy in advance (aka don't have to be there as early)?
Gates fees amount?

Re: Hurricane Ridge Tickets & gate fees
Hi Julie,
I usually get my tickets the day before to avoid the morning line-up and so I don't have to there so early. The park fee is $10 for a person and her/his bicycle.
Don't forget travel medical insurance if you don't already have it.
See you Friday!

Thanks for the info

Hey Stephane,
Where do you buy the park pass ticket the day before?

I don't think you can buy the park pass in advance. Just make sure you've got $US10 cash, along with your passport.
You can buy the ferry ticket in advance. I've picked it up the evening before in the past.
Tripleshot doesn't organize this ride, so everyone's on their own to make arrangements.
The weather forecast for Hurricane Ridge is for coolish weather (cloudy with a low of 6, high of 16) with maybe a chance of rain. It can get quite cold on the descent. I'd recommend bringing warmish gloves and a layer for the ride down.
Hope to be there!
Martin
p.s. Don't take photographs in the customs hall when you arrive at Port Angeles, or you'll get a very stern talking to from the Customs and Border Protection people. Trust me.

Sorry, I meant to say I get my ferry tickets ahead of time. Park fee is paid for a the park entrance.

So return is $50...

Re: Hurricane Ridge Tickets & gate fees
It sounds like this thread is about the Canada Day ride up Hurricane Ridge, for which every man/woman/man-child is on his/her/its own.
But don't forget, Tripleshot will also be running our own 4th(?) annual Hurricane Ridge ride on Sunday, August 7th. The club will cover 50% of the transportation costs per person for that event.

I bought my tickets today. The return trip was $67.50 CDN.
Re: Hurricane Ridge Tickets & gate fees
Just to confirm- 6 o clock ferry there. 12h45 back? Is that the standard?

Yep. People even linger at the top, and disappear at the bottom (an epic restaurant apparently)
Thanks Stephane
Thanks Stephane

I picked up my ticket. The woman at the counter said that immigration will open at about 5:40am. They're expecting a big lineup.

I got hit by a car. I'm out, my friend Elizabeth will be selling my tickets in the am if anyone hasn't got theirs yet.
