Tour de Victoria August 21

I hope to take part in this event and maybe race (I still have a hard time with any sentence that includes race and any reference to me in it; to each our own pace and effort!)?

Is anyone else taking part? Is anyone interested in creating a team?

Hi Barton,

Don't think of it as a race but a really fast group ride with a few hundred other people. Such an exciting and surreal experience to roll down Gorge road taking the whole lane at 40km/hr in a big pack. Keep out of trouble early and pick a good pacing group and it's about as fun as it gets. I've ridden the past 3 years and will probably be participating again. We usually have 5 or 6 Tripleshot members ride but not always together the whole way. If you make a post closer to the event surely some will want to join you, myself included. Cheers
