There is a reason that pickup trucks make me nervous when they pass. Maybe it's the fact I lived in rural Ontario and have done a lot of riding on country roads with LOTS of pickup trucks.

Motorists and cyclists need to respect each other more. As cyclists we tend to always blame the motorists. There is plenty of blame and poor decision-making on both sides.

We need to slow down, be aware, and obey the rules of the road.

The primary goal of the workday should be to arrive home safely to one's family.
