Strava Giro 21000m challenge
I note that some of us Strava addicts have joined the Giro 21000m challenge. That's a 1000m climb a day.
Anyone got any ideas on how to do this? It's a fairly significant step up from even just doing Wednesday hill workouts for 3 weeks..

7 Mount Doug climbs easily covers 1000+ meters, with roughly 150m elevation gain from the lower to upper parking areas. My average over 10 slowly ridden laps was under 15 min per loop or about 1hr 45min for the 7. You will probably have enough to skip the last day of repeats after 20 days.

5 Munn Roads from Burnside,
or any combination thereof

Re: Strava Giro 21000m challenge
So are anyone of those who signed up for the challenge going to attempt one or a combination of the above for 3 weeks every day?
Would be a pretty cool pixel collection to have?
Im up for it, just cant figure out how I will actually do it

I did an 'every local hill ride' once with Adam, Craig: https://www.strava.com/activities/178495326
I think we missed Bear Mountain because of a down power line, so with that included you might get to 3,000m.

Re: Strava Giro 21000m challenge
Any interest in planning a hilly Sunday ride? Selfishly thinking something in the 2,500m range, as Martin and I have the Gran Fondo coming up in a few weeks.
Re: Strava Giro 21000m challenge
Have 24 days (May 6th to 29th) to complete the challenge...works out to only 875m/day.
Still trying to decide if I want to take this one on...don't know how productive I'll be at work doing all that climbing for 24 days straight!

Or you could go to the bike park and do it all in one weekend....

I'm up for some big hills (with or without gravel) this weekend.
