Leave Fairfield Starbucks at 7 AM. Usual TSC group ride etiquette, well, B2, B3 and C group ride etiquette!!

As mentioned, next Sunday May 1 I and a few others are going to do the MEC Century Ride. We will ride out from Alpha (Mayfair) Starbucks at 7. The MEC ride starts at 8:30. And it is not going to rain!!

I'll be away the following weekend, May 8.

May 15 there is a Masters Race out at Shawnigan Lake, http://sidneyvelo.ca/mill-bay-road-race/. These are great races (they are not rides!). You leave in 5 or 10 year age groups with the oldest headed out first. You ride like mad to trying to keep the next group from passing you! Lots of fun especially when the group you are with works together! And it does not start till noon so you don't even have to set an alarm!

I love long range planning so let's keep going. I have been hankering to ride the Malahat and Coldstream Heights. Maybe May 22 or 23?

I'm in, for the first time in weeks. See you dark-ish, and early!

Great Ride! Good thing I had the route on the Garmin and turn by turn on paper! I think everyone enjoyed the little climb up Thomson Place the most. Six of us started out; John D, Gerry, Mary, Maureen, Mark F then we met up with Mikael. We all finished together. Good weather (except for some wind when we least needed it) good company and support and an interesting and challenging route.
