Pothole alert - Blenkinsop

I was pedaling north on Blenkinsop today and noticed a possibly-flat-inducing pothole in the northbound lane where our pacelines often find themselves. I will endeavour to also notify the proper (Saanich) authorities, and also mention it before the Friday ride, but in case I forget or miss anyone... Beware. It's somewhere after the climb away from Galley Farms, in the flat stretch. A single cyclist would likely miss it, but that second row of the paceline would likely not.

I rode Blenkinsop last night, saw the same pothole and thought the same thing Claire...it's right around Blenkinsop/Lohbrunner Rd.

Sadly, the Blenkinsop Pothole of Death caught a victim this morning - a double flat for Brian E. Ouch! I've called Saanich Engineering and hope that the hole gets fixed in good time. Until then - stay aware along the flat section of Blenkinsop near the new Mt Doug p-lot and Lohbrunner Rd.

The repair job by Saanich on the Blenkinsop Rd pothole wasn't very good...rode by there today and part of the asphalt has come out.
