Wanted: 51-52cm road bike(s)

My trusty old steeds are starting to show their age. What I really need is a winter bike, but what fun is it to start with a winter bike upgrade? Anyway, I thought maybe some of you club members with kids might have something in my size. I'm not too particular about brand or even material, but condition and overall quality (Ultegra or better) do matter. The relatively high mileage I've put in this winter already has convinced me that I deserve a new bike (or two).

if it fits you and the $ is right you will not be disappointed with the frame

Hi Claire,

Thought this was a great deal for $800, maybe they're willing to negotiate a bit. Quoted as 44cm but that is probably a seat tube measurement. I would do a top tube check to get the real deal. Ultegra 10 and solid Mavic Elite wheels. Even has Conti gatorskin tires mounted.

Not quite, Norm. I answer to Townsend or Morgan these days but not Thomson. I've emailed the owner; that bike has some promise. Ideally, it would be a full carbon frame, but maybe I'll soften on that if it's in great shape.
