Saturday Suffer-less-than-usual-fest

It's the usual Saturday Sufferfest ride, but slightly more sane and a little less merciless.

Don't get me wrong – you'll still cough up bile, and you'll probably cry a little bit along the way. But our average speed will be 34ish rather than the 36-37 we clocked mid-season.

We leave Cook Street SBUX at 6 a.m. and then follow the waterfront east and then up the peninsula to Land's End...pretty much the same route as OBB's Saturday ride. 93 km from coffee shop to coffee shop.

You know you wanna do it, so just ignore that little voice trying to talk you out of it. He/she is a sissy.
