Cross Ride Wednesday

Post by wonger »

I'm going to meet the Farmers at 6:00 and do a cx ride for 90 minutes then join them for coffee at Moka House. Anyone want to come along?

That was a fun ride guys. Hopefully more of that in the coming months.
Cheers to Geoff for the route bossing.

Geoff,

Thanks for organizing this. I am keen to come out for a little cross practice but unfortunately my bike is in the shop. No, really, it is in the shop - the mechanic may have cursed when he saw the condition of the bike and I heard a mutter of 'I didn't think that could be bent that way...' Hopefully, I will get the bike back this week and can come out to play.

Great ride this morning - thanks to Blair, Martin and Trevor for coming out and keeping me company - it's way more fun with a group. I'd love to make it a semi-regular thing if there's enough interest. We can see how long it takes for Oak Bay to put up the "no cycling" sign on Willows Beach.

Cross Underground starts next Wednesday - fix your bike by then Michael.

That was fun. Thanks for being cruise director, Geoff. And thanks, Trevor, for the Beacon Hill Park tour. I'd be up for that as a regular ride.

Yes - lots of fun discovering new trails and riding the beach was a first for me. Definitely keen to keep the early morning CX rides going.
