TS Winter Spin Gym: who's interested?
There's been some chat (Peter L;, Brian S.) about setting up a super low-cost winter group spin classes; this is to gauge interest.
- initial trial from roughly October to March
- 10 or so Keiser spin bikes (the ones with power meters/cadence etc)
- schedule TBD but at least 3 morning classes per week
- guesstimate cost of ~$50 for the winter season ($10/mo) (but donations welcome)
- possibly coached?
- any/all profits plowed into the TS youth cycling program
1. YES! Sign me up- and here's my post-dated cheque fo $50
2. MAYBE: Interested but not sold yet- and here are my questions/suggestions:
3. FUGGEDABOUTIT: Wimps- winter is for riding outside in the dark

Owen- location/schedule etc all TBD- at this point all we're trying to determine is whether there's sufficient interest to justify the effort required to make this happen.
We'd like to aim for at least 3-4 sessions per week of 1-2 hours with at least, say, 6 people attending. it's early days so there will be plenty of details to sort out. We won't ask for any commitment of $$ until there's a solid plan in place (bikes acquired, free/cheap venue located etc.)

count me in! I hate my winter bike! Did spin classes all last winter and it is a great way to stay clean, dry (well mostly!) and fit.
I might even be willing to instruct the odd class, if need be.....

Thanks Chris. Once a week for me.

Hi- Count me as a maybe. Twins arrive in the next 4-8 weeks. They (along with their little sister) will dictate whether I have enough gumption to make this happen...Aaron
