I'm in .... but just to Sooke. From there, turning around and heading back via Gillespie Rd. and East Sooke.
With a stop at Matheson Lk. for a swim. I'm packing a bathing suit.

I'm in as far as Sooke too, and am bringing my bathing suit so we can have a dip in Matheson Lake on the way back. There will be several of us including Dave S., John D., Mary, Mark and I. Anyone not manly enough (or womanly enough) to do the Great Loop Ride is invited to join us, heretofore known as the TripleShot Swim Team on our inaugural TS Great Loop Swim!

Swimming? Why not do both? Big loop ride and swimming. Bring a suit and towel, jump in Lake Cowichan. There are change rooms where we stop for refreshments.

With great saddness, I will not be riding tomorrow either. My dear wife is very sick and we are stuck in Harrison Hot Springs for an extra night. Ah well, there are worse places to be held up at!!

It was good to see so many familiar faces today. Thanks sooo much to the support crew. Support makes such a difference.
The Big Loop Ride was different than I remember. I remember being able to make it all the way...lol. The group left me in Port Renfrew and I had to call my own ground crew (Wife to the rescue.
I gave it all I had. See you all soon.

Thanks to Mark and Paul for organizing and leading us all through the big loop safely and intact. And thanks to the support crew without whom we most likely would not have made it all the way given the heat. The fluids were a life saver and the food was excellent. Thanks Marcus, Nancy, Steve and Kara.

OK...I got a ride from Lake Cowichan. So not the toughest. But pretty tired.

I highly recommend bringing a bathing suit and swimming in Cowichan Lake. I felt like a new person after! It might explain why I'm feeling better than expected today ...

Third annual BLR was a great success.

Only one flat and one Chain mechanical....me, which required a ride to Pt. Renfrew and a new master link. Thank you to great "mechanics " Steve White and Scott. The result being I will not get a Tripleshot Triplecrown of Summer award.
But some of you will. After Aug 16,H.R. trip ( see Barton's post )

Thanks a lot to the great support of Marcus and Nancy and dogs ,Scott for extra support,
Steve W and Kara on motorcycles. This is what Tripleshot is really about!

And great job to all first timers. Penny and Amy did great. Only "dropping me" a couple of times.

And a big thanks to John D. and TRIPLESHOT for supporting this event.
Start training. BLR 2016 is in only 51 weeks. Nobody rides alone!!

Thanks for a great ride yesterday everyone!! There were a couple of times where i was an inch away from packing it in ... But im glad I finished. Thanks to all for the support scott ? (Drove the black suv?) marcus & nancy can't forget the pups! Thanks mark ford and paul Christopher for setting this up and Tripleshot. Cheers everyone!!and the motor bikes!!!
