I can only shake my head at the motorists who rage at OUR sense of entitlement (or as the learned Jeff Cust puts it, "sense of intitlement").

Reminds me of the dickhead who nearly ran me into the ditch on Mt Doug Cross and then told me at the Blenkinsop stop sign that I'm just another one of those asshole cyclists who thinks he owns the road.

While I'm sure most of the content on this page is prejudiced venting, it does contain this video (featuring at least one fetching baby blue jersey!

That was clearly a ride of people taking themselves pretty seriously on a Thursday evening. And turning a couple more people sour on roadies in the process.

Rolf, that is not one of our jerseys. We're not the only ones who got caught up in the Easter Egg spandex craze of 2008-2009. There was at least one other person and he/she is in the video.

The article mentions Elly Blue. She wrote a book called Bikenomics. A great read. I have the book if anyone wants to borrow it. Or buy a copy and give to the mayor and council of your community!
