Have you looked at your rear tire lately? I got a flat yesterday. I caught a lift home from work and ignored it until a few minutes ago when I set out to make the repair (prior to Wednesday hills). It was down to the threads almost all the way around. Because it's been hidden by the fender since early October, I hadn't noticed the deterioration. Lucky that it went down yesterday and not far from home (or in the sprint) on Sunday. Sadly (sort of) my only replacement is a 25mm, which won't fit under the fender, so I won't see you until at least Thursday.

That is exactly what happened to me. Flat last Friday, repaired it, then another Wednesday night (as I discovered leaving work). Took it in before work (too lazy to do it myself) and the staff at OBB said the tire was so worn, the inner tube was showing through. Didn't even consider it was worn out, considering I replaced them in the spring.
