It is a hard time of year to get a gym with school being on break, Lister tried and tried but to no avail (thanks Lister for trying). We will NOT have a gym session this Monday.
The next gym session will be Monday January 5 back at St. Pat.
If you have any feedback about the classes thus far please let me now. Thanks to those who have told me what they think. The general feedback I have been given is:
MORE CORE, is what I am hearing from a lot of people. People want to focus on the body parts that we don't use as much cycling, so not focusing on quads. People are also wanting an explanation of what body parts we are working on and why. I got the general sense that people liked the team handball game as a warm-up, but NO CONTACT.
If I haven't captured your general feedback, let me know what you are thinking.
Thanks all, and have a great Christmas and holiday!!

Re: Gym session update -no class next Monday- start again Ja
Just a quick note to remind everyone that the Monday night gym sessions are back! We had our first one of 2015 this past Monday and it went really well.
We started with a game of females vs. the males in team handball. It was a close fought game, but I think the XX out did the XY (and I'm not bias .
We then had 30 minutes of 'bootcamp' type exercises and we were all sweating and grunting and groaning as many different bits of our body got punished. Nick provided different options for each exercise so those who wanted more (or less) had an option. We ended with a bit of stretching.
From the feedback I received, everyone seemed to be quite pleased with this season. My only complaint was the music, ACDC… What's with that???
We will be continuing on Monday nights at Saint Pat's until mid-March with a break on Family Day (Monday February 9), as the school will not be open.
