Spotter (ride with Julie in 3 weeks)

Post by Julie »

Hi, in three weeks I can try cycling and was curious if anyone wanted to come with me, more a friendly ride just to see the balance and if hills are still my friend. I know it sounds boring I miss you guys. So excited to get back on a bicycle.

Hey Julie, great to hear you will be back on the bike soon. I'd be keen to ride with you. I should do that before you get too fast for me.

It was great to seee you out running near the Oak Bay Marina when we passed you on the Sunday ride!

As it will likely be the only time I will be able to keep up with you, count me in, too!

What were you thinking in terms of a ride Julie? Route? How long? When and where to meet?

I look forward to it.

I'm going to make this ride a goal—pending therapist approval.

I've only been on the bike once since August. It would be great to ride with others for whom some simple wind in the hair amounted to Mission Accomplished!

I am hoping to be there, hopefully with the boys towing behind me on the trail-behind :)
What time is this being planned for?

Hi,
Okay I'm fender less and not going out if it freezes overnight, but early before traffic and not before light. Weather permitting 0800 at Pareto since I can see it from my place. I'll post again in the am

Thanks for the update.

If you could post by 7 am, that would be great

I overdid it on a run and still sick, it's funny because I feel fine during, but then there's aftermath and I never know when I've overdone it. There's supposed to be no such thing. I'm hoping that doing nothing again today will prepare me for tomorrow. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

Yes Julie, take it easy. It will come.
It was too crazy windy early this morning anyways. You could have been like the flying nun going for a bike ride (maybe you are too young to get this reference).
