My pain is your gain.
I bought a sweet S-Works 175mm carbon crankset for my mtb recently, did one ride, and realized that the flex in my frame, particularly through the chainstays, is too much and causes the inside of the crank to rub against the chainstay guard.
You cannot buy this crankset unless you buy the S-Works bike that it comes attached to. I was able to get my hands on it through OBB when it came off a sweet custom build.
$400 and it's yours.
