See you at Cook St Starbucks. Leaving at 6 AM sharp.
The idea is long slow distance. Mid week is great for hammering it; Sunday is a day to go long, at a sustainable pace, nice moderate heart rate. Mark Ford is going to join us. If anyone knows how to go long it is Mark. A lot of TS riders can go a lot quicker than Mark over short distance but I bet not many of us can stay with him for 5 or 6 hours or more! Don't worry, our plan is 100 K or so.
Looking at a C C+ pace. Hope to see you there.
Barton.

Re: early Nov 23 and two tough mudders
For the record, Mark Ford and I overruled our respective spouses who thought we were insane to leave the house at 5:45 am in a monsoon to meet with our cycling peeps. As it turns out we had quite a pleasant ride made up entirely of the two of us on a very, very, rainy, very, very windy, and very, very dark Sunday morning. We are two tough mudders!
