New pedal advice

Hi all,

I am getting new shoes and pedals (finally!). I got the shoes (Shimano extra wide fit with full carbon sole) from North Park Bikes and they are suggesting that I also get Shimano pedals. The 105 are probably at the top end of my budget and the Look ones appear cheaper and I have heard good things about them. I was thinking about a bigger footplate but I guess with the full carbon sole that may not be as necessary. Any thoughts, advice or experience on which way to go greatly received?

I've had Shimano 105, Look Keo, and Look Keo 2 Max pedals. They all worked great, I doubt you would notice a difference except Look pedals do have a tendency to squeak occasionally which is a little annoying but doesn't happen to me very often.

Either choice is good so I would recommend choosing what you like better based on looks and price.
