Kayak trip gear needed

Post by Lister Farrar »

I'm looking to borrow some gear for a week starting Sat am.

single burner stove such as coleman peak one. (We have a whisper light but find it fussy.)

roof rack saddles or shaped foam blocks to carry a double kayak on our Thule roof rack. Also webbing straps.

water filter/pump

metal shovel, folding or compact

Thanks

Lister - I am in Holland right now, but I have the racks and straps in my garage. You can borrow them. There is a Dutch family staying in my house for the summer, but they speak excellent english and can open the garage for you. There are extra paddles, life jackets and kayaks that you can borrow.

Stay away from the Titanium bicycle.

I am wearing my triple shot gear here while riding amongst thousands of cyclists - great cycling country - no hills, and lots of coffee (and coffee houses where the brownies make you feel very happy on the rides).
