Hi Folks! A second session of the Tripleshot Women's Clinic is being put on, due to popular demand. Please share the info! Starts in two weeks.

2014 Women's Group Road Riding & Skills Cycling Clinic – Session Two

This 5-week clinic is coached by women for women, and provides a series of skills and training sessions to get you more confident and faster on your road bike. Sessions will include bike handling drills, group riding techniques (drafting/ pacelines), basic bike maintenance, goal setting and an introduction to racing, all in a beginner friendly format. A level two group will be offered for those who have already completed the first course. This clinic will highlight the diversity of cycling as well as an introduction to the Victoria cycling community.
Dates:
June 3 – July 8 (except July 1st)
Tuesdays, 6 - 7:30pm: skills sessions, various locations
New for 2014:
Mondays, 6-8:00pm: Group ride in conjunction with the Oak Bay Wheelers Women's Ride: victoriawheelers.ca/event/wheelers-race/womens-ride
Sponsored Evenings:
Monday June 2, 6:00pm: Bike Mechanics and Goal Setting session
June 9, 6:00pm: Bike Fit with Barb Bialokoz (bbphysio.ca)
June 16, 6:00 pm: Assessment and Strength Training for Cyclists with Bonnie Browett (focussportsrehab.com)
Tuesday July 8, 6:00pm: Social Wrap-Up group ride
Target Event:
June 11, 6:00 pm: Victoria Cycling League: Intro to Racing at Western Speedway, hosted by Tripleshot Cycling (race entry fee and single day license included in Clinic fee).

Cost:
Clinic Registration - $100.00 Registration cost does not include the online processing fee. Maximum registration 24 participants.
Cycling BC License (optional) - $45 for a citizen license.
Cycling BC is offering new members 50% off membership so a citizen license is highly encouraged as it will facilitate participating in group rides and local cycling events. If a participant is uninsured by Cycling BC, there is a maximum allowance of three group rides with a cycling club.
