Lemond Single Speed

Post by Alan »

As much as I love this bike, the frame (at 56 cm) is too big for my frame. It features mucho yellowness including a yellow chain, yellow bar tape, and a yellow bell. Has a few scratches, has been crashed at least once (that we know of, right Dave?) and has been subject to bad driving (right Barton?) resulting in a small dent in the chainstay. Rolf rode this bike and loved it but has forged a new relationship with a stronger metal and is now a certified Titanium snob. Willing to negotiate on price. Not included in the sale is Alan's retro water fountain and his aluminium lighthouse. Shoot me an email if interested: Cassels@uvic.ca

Whoever buys this bike will enjoy my everlasting envy. It's super light, and thanks to modern components mated with a silky steel frame, it rolls like a dream.

It also goes up hills really fast, thanks to that big ol' gear!

My dear wife told me I don't need another bike, in no uncertain terms!

I had some great rides on that bike thru the hills of Eugene and the along the Oregon Coast.

How many bikes does a person need?

One more than he/she currently owns.

Nice bike Alan.
