Riding to Oak Bay crit - July 26th

Any one up for meeting at Fairfield Starbucks for a coffee prior to the Oak Bay crit in the morning?

I think registration is at 8, so if we meet there at the usual Sunday time (7 - 7:15ish) and then do a waterfront loop before heading over we should be good.

Anyone know what the deal with race numbers is tomorrow - are we supposed to bring our Cycling BC or VCL numbers? Or are they providing different ones?

Awesome race tonight by the way guys - went pretty good from my perspective. I think Peter rolled in close to the front around 5th, and I was a bit back at around 8th. I didn't get a chance to see Roland finish (hungry fussy kids pulled me away) - but the Cat 3/4 race looked like a very fast and unfriendly pace. I was glad to be a 5 tonight!!

You bet. Meet at 7 - gone by 7:15.

I am using my VCL race number as tomororw is a VCL Race.

Tonight rocked. I was 6th and won a prime (2nd on 2 others). For me a fantastic race so I am pretty much guaranteed to have shot legs for tomorrow. Gavin was always right there as well.

Roland had a good go. 1 bad corner and a gap opened and then it was major suffering for the flying banana.

I'm kinda bummed about my race, one stupid corner and I was done. At least I know I can hang with the cat 3s. I really thought I would be out of my league, but I was doing all right.

Hopefully this rain stops...
